In the future, man will learn to control the brute force and prowess of nature by harnessing the incredible instant mega energy discharges from lightning, and to manufacture drugs from the carbon structures of nanotechnology.
Water is an enormous force to be reckoned with that man hasn't yet mastered, but he will learn to dominate it just like electronics, which is the daughter of Physics and electricity. We all know the miracles of electronics in our every day lives, and we even take it for granted. But electronics is only part of the multifaceted forces that are at our disposal on planet earth. The winds, hurricanes, volcanoes spewing boiling lava, landslides, solar energy, are just a few to mention. I wholeheartedly agree with Thomas Edison, when he said during the last century that we don’t even know a thousand of a thousand about nature yet.
In the future, man will eliminate from mankind the constant threat of fatal diseases, but, unfortunately, not the number one fatal ailment of them all: WAR. I know for sure, that the only disease that man hasn’t eradicated so far is WAR. These man-made armed conflicts have killed more people throughout history than all hurricanes, ocean storm sinking, earthquakes, snow avalanches, plane crashing, auto collision accidents, hunger, and diseases combined. And the worst part is the fact that WAR doesn’t really solve anything. After the last bullet shot in anger, both sides are losers…
